Where is the Colosseum
The Colosseum is located close to 1 km southeast of Rome’s historic center. You can get there by public transport.
By bus, you can use Line 75, 81, 673, 175 and 204.
By Metro, you get on Line B and get down on the stop “Colosseo”.
By Tram, you take Line 3.

The Colosseum is located at Piazza del Colosseo, 1, 00184 Roma RM, Italy.
Gladiator’s Gate: it’s a special tour of the Colosseum with access to the Arena Floor.
Roman Forum: the entrance is located between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia.
Palatine Hill: you can access from within the Roman Forum. It’s located south of Colosseum on the Via di San Gregorio.
Domus Aurea: located at the east end of the Colosseum, past the traffic light and intersection. Follow a short paved path to the entrance.
How To Get To The Colosseum Walking From...
The Roman Forum is almost 600 metres apart, and it will take you about 8-10 minutes.
Palatine Hill is less than 5 minutes’ away from the Colosseum.
The Arch of Constantine will take you 2 minutes.
The Pantheon is 1.5 km away and the estimated time to get there is 20 minutes.
